King/Queen of the Mountain Segments

There will be two KOM / QOM segments.   Cyclists must use STRAVA to compete in this segments.

KOM / QOM 1:  

"Last big climb before border". This will be at approximately the 17 KM mark for the 100 km cyclists and the 57 KM mark for the 140 km cyclists.

KOM / QOM 2:  

"Leavitt Hill".  This is the hill just east of Leavitt, Alberta. It is roughly a 1 km segment, and will force cyclists to dig deep near the end of their ride.

This segment will appear at roughly the 130 km mark for the 140 km cyclists, the 86km mark for the 100 km cyclists, and the 35 mark for the 50 km cyclists.
